Hair Crack Hair Care Tips

 

  • Hair Crack is made to be used directly on the scalp but can also be used to moisturize your hair strands and prevent breakage.

  • Use Hair Crack once every 3 days.

​

  • Apply by sectioning your hair into 4 sections.  Lightly apply Hair Crack into your partings.  Then divide each section into 3-4 sections using all horizontal partings and lightly apply Hair Crack.  Once it's all applied, gently massage your scalp for 30-60 seconds using your finger tips to increase blood flow to the scalp.  Repeat again in 3 days, but switch to vertical partings within your 4 sections this time.

​

  • To use on hair as a moisturizer, use a dime sized amount and rub it into your hands before applying it to your hair. Be sure to start at your ends and work your way up. If you need to apply more due to thickness, continue to work in dime sized amounts. You do not want your hair overloaded with product.

  • Your jar should last 30-60 days depending on the amount you use.  Remember a little goes a long way.

 

Hair Extensions Hair Care Tips

​

• Does this hair shed?


Any hair that has been wefted will experience some shedding which is absolutely normal. This hair has minimal shedding meaning the hair will be never have a noticeable or drastic decrease in its density or volume if you are proper caring for the hair. (such as proper shampooing, conditioning and air drying)


 

•How much does each bundle weight?


Each bundle is weighs 3.5oz or 100g.

•Will each weft be the same length?

The shorter the hair, the longer the weft.  The longer the hair, the shorter the weft. This is the reasoning you must order a certain number of bundles depending on the hair length.

 

  • Is there anything I should do before I install?

It's highly recommended that you cowash your bundles before install.  You can also seal your wefts, but it's not required.  For wig units the hair has already been shampooed and conditioned so you can install immediately.




• Can I color this hair?


Pink Collection Hair colors yp to a number 30.  Gold Collection Hair colors up to a number 27.  Diamond Collection Hair colors up to a number 613.  Professional coloring is highly recommended.  If coloring please remember to condition and really care for the hair just like your own hair it can damage it and cause breakage.  Recommended product is keep hair hydrated in One N Only Argon Oil.

• What type of hair care products should I use?


 Treat this hair like your own hair. Use good quality shampoo and conditioning products. Conditioning your hair is very important to keep it soft and manageable. Use more conditioner than shampoo. We recommend using a deep conditioner on your virgin hair once per week, but avoid using a lot of oil or heavy styling products on Sleek Straight, Monroe Wave, and Bombshell Wave.  Mermaid Dream, Exotic Curl, Mulatto Curl, and Queen Curl require daily conditioning by using a spray bottle with conditioner, water and argon oil mixed.  Mulatto Curl and Queen Curl require curl locking products such as curl creams and mousses UNLESS you like a less defined look.

• How should I brush/comb this hair?

You must brush through your hair daily. Gently brush your hair from the ends towards your scalp. Starting from the ends keeps the pressure off the weft area and is a good way to keep shedding at a minimum.  Never brush or comb directly on lace it can cause balding.

​

• Do I have to do anything special at night?


You must NEVER sleep on wet hair it can tangle and matt hair badly. Always secure your hair EVERY NIGHT before sleeping with rollers, braid(s), bun(s), ponytail(s), wrapping, etc.  Use silk/satin scarf and/or bonnet.  This will prolong your hair's life.

• Is there maintenance involved with the up keep of this hair?


Yes, hair should be taken out to be thoroughly shampooed and conditioned every 6-8 weeks.  You must shampoo and condition while installed but do your best to avoid your braids underneath unless you have a sit under or bag dryer to thoroughly dry the braids.  Always allow to air dry or use sit under dryer.  Frequent direct heat of the blow dryer can shorten the life of your hair.  Also heat styling should be done no more than once per week to keep the hair as healthy as possible so it's VERY important to do what's necessary at night to keep your desired style.

 

 • Can I go swimming?


-Pink Collection hair should not be worn to swim in.  All other hair YES!  Very important tip!   Bring your conditioner to the pool!  Once you're finished swimming,  apply an ample amount of conditioner into your hair.  This will keep the hair from drying out before you get to the shower for a thorough shampoo and conditioning. ALWAYS shampoo and condition your hair after swimming.

• How often can I wash my hair?


You should shampoo and condition your hair once per week. 3-4 days after, you should cowash your hair (Wash just using conditioner).  This will keep the hair soft and lightweight.  If that schedule is too often for you, the recommendation is shampoo one week then cowash the next.  Once hair gets dirty it will stop cooperating.  Product buildup can also cause tangling.

• How long does the hair last?


Pink Collection lasts up to 6 months.  Gold Collection hair lasts up to a year.  Diamond Collection hair lasts up to 2 years. This hair can last for a very long time depending on how you maintain it.
